For employees of the planning department of the educational process, the second half of December and January are traditionally a difficult and stressful period. During these months, all efforts are directed to the preparation of class schedules for the upcoming academic semester. The complexity and significance of this work can not be underestimated. Class schedule is a central and integral part of the current planning of the educational process of a higher education institution and connects students and faculty, the requirements of normative legal acts and teaching and program documentation, and the facilities of the material and technical base into a unified system. The peculiarity of the class schedule of the Academy is its weekly differentiation, i.e. each week of the schedule is unique and takes into account the peculiarities of teaching a particular academic discipline.

In the scheduling process, the “planners” faced a number of difficulties and peculiarities, such as the planning of studies taking into account one week for non-teaching students; grounded and coordinated with the leadership of the Academy wishes of both individual teachers and departments in general; the schedule of work of such institutions of the city of Minsk as the Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1, the Office of Forensic Medical Examinations, the Republican Clinical Psychiatric Hospital, the reception center for juveniles and other organizations, on the basis of which visiting classes are conducted with cadets.

In the educational process of cadets in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, 236 teachers are involved, two thirds of whom teach in more than one faculty, including conducting classes for students of correspondence education, refresher courses and retraining. Separate attention was demanded by the planning of studies for heads of ministries and departments, who make a considerable personal contribution to the training of specialists with higher education and who are directly involved in the educational process.

A total of 120 classrooms are involved in the second semester, including lecture and sports halls, shooting galleries and computer classes. Also, in the course of practical classes, the active use of specialized rooms and polygons of departments continues, thanks to which the classes become more practice-oriented.

You can always familiarize yourself with the current schedule of training sessions on the website of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the “For students” section.
